Billiton Services Private Limited does not charge any fee at any stage of recruitment. Not a registration fee, security deposit, training fee, laptop deposit, visa fee or processing charge. If anyone asks you for money in our name, it is a fraud and you should stop and report it.
How to tell a genuine approach from a fake one
| Genuine | Fraudulent |
|---|---|
| Emails come from an address ending @btsind.com | Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook or a lookalike domain such as btsind-hr.com or bittiton.com |
| Roles are listed on btsind.com/join-us | A role only ever mentioned on WhatsApp, Telegram or a message from an unknown number |
| You are asked for your CV and to attend an interview | You are asked to pay, or to share bank OTP, card or UPI details |
| An offer follows an interview with named people you can verify | An offer arrives within hours, with no real interview, for surprisingly high pay |
| We ask for identity documents only after an offer is accepted | Aadhaar, PAN or bank details are demanded up front "to confirm your application" |
Things we will never do
- Ask you to pay anything, to us or to any "partner", at any stage.
- Ask for your bank password, card number, CVV, UPI PIN or an OTP.
- Make an offer without an interview.
- Conduct the whole process only over a messaging app with no verifiable company email.
- Ask you to buy equipment or software to start work with us.
If you think you are being targeted
Stop communicating and do not pay anything. Then:
- Forward the message, email address and any phone numbers to so we can confirm whether it came from us and warn others.
- If you have already paid, report it to the national cybercrime portal at cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930, India's cyber financial fraud helpline.
- File a complaint at your nearest police station, keeping copies of every message and payment receipt.
Verifying an offer you have received
If you have an offer letter and want to be certain it is ours, email with a copy. We will confirm within one working day. We would far rather answer a hundred checks than have one person lose money to someone using our name.
